Jin Hao's Picture Writing - False Fire Alarm (unedited)

Whenever Jack read in the newspaper reports about fire, he would always remember the funny day he had with his classmate, Colin.
“Come on, jack .Do it!”coaxed Colin .
‘But what if … what if the principal or anyone walks past?”said jack ,frightfully.
“Don’t be such a scaredy -cat. Are you afraid?” teased Colin.
Intimidated by Colin’s words, Jack quickly swung his bottle at the fire alarm. The glass cover smashed to smithereens and the fire alarm went off. Jack and Colin immediately ran off. Little did they know that a security camera was there, and the security guard was watching their every move.
Panting from running such a long distance, two boys immediately sat down on a bench. Colin immediately slapped Jack’s back and said, “You did very well.”
They did not hear heavy footsteps behind them. The security guard had come down, and clutched both boys by their collars. He pulled them all the way to the office and told the principal the whole situation.
The security guard was smiling in a most superior way. But as for Colin and Jack, they were trembling from head to toe.
The principal thought hard but before he could dish out any punishment to the two boys for their misbehaviour, one of the students from Primary 6A rushed into the office.
“Mr Wong, the school is on fire !” exclaimed the boy, panting heavily. The principal quickly notified everyone in the school to quickly evacuate to the school field by the PA system. He then called the fire station to come and put out the fire. The fire fighters arrived and dispatched men to put out the fire.
The firemen investigated and traced the fire to the security room. It was actually the security guard’s fault when he went out of the room before switching off the switch.
The switch was overloaded with too many plugs which actually caught fire. The security guard was red in the face and had nothing to say. He walked out briskly from the principal’s office. As for Colin and Jack, their punishment was to clean up the burnt security office wall. But they were soon playing with water that was supposed to wash the wall. Oh, what are they going to do the next time ?
